Pet Potluck
A project that was brought up was creating a poster that has three advertisements. It was difficult to find a theme for the poster, but eventually I decided to promote something that included animals. The Pet Potluck has a background of an animal shelter that hosted a potluck and invited the community. The community was welcomed to bring extra food items and bring their pets. The goal was to let the community meet the shelter animals and give the animals a chance of adoption. The social media posts have small illustrations showing what the shelter might have to offer. Grand Canyon Brochure
There are many wonders of the world. One of the biggest wonders is the Grand Canyon. For this project we were given a list of amazing places on Earth, and we were to create a brochure promoting it. There were only a few places that I had been to on that list and the Grand Canyon was one of them. Experiencing the Grand Canyon was breathtaking and a view that did not look real in person. The Grand Canyon has many gems and on this brochure I was only able to cover a select few. It was nice to find photos and put together information of one of the wonders of the world.
Thai 99
Lynchburg has many cultures surrounding Liberty. Our class was given logos of surrounding restaurants and we were to pick one and redesign it. Many took the challenge of BBQ spots, sushi spots, and local areas. I picked one that I did not know was going to be tedious to do. Thai 99 stood out and I thought I could create a nice symbol with the 99. However, trying to create a combination did not support to name of the restaurant, leading to me scrapping that idea. The chili took a while to create and selecting what colors and what part gets the colors. I eventually settled with a simple layout and chili.
